Materuni Waterfalls, Hot Springs Tour, and/or Coffee Tour

This adventure begins with a pick-up from your residence in Arusha or Moshi and a drive to Materuni Waterfall. After registering, you’ll meet a local guide and embark on a 1.5-hour round-trip hike to the breathtaking waterfall. Standing at 85 meters, it is the tallest waterfall in Tanzania’s northern region, nestled in Materuni Village, the last settlement before Kilimanjaro National Park. Along the hike, you’ll pass through lush landscapes, enjoying the cool waters sourced from Mount Kilimanjaro.

Following the hike, you’ll return to the village and visit a coffee plantation. Here, you’ll engage in a hands-on “bean-to-cup” coffee-making experience, learning traditional techniques for roasting and brewing Arabica coffee using local utensils. After savoring a cup of freshly brewed organic coffee, you’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch featuring authentic Tanzanian dishes.

The journey continues with a one-hour drive to Chemka Hot Springs. At this serene spot, you can relax and swim in the warm, crystal-clear natural pools, heated by volcanic activity. This tour offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tanzania while experiencing its rich traditions and vibrant culture.

After your time at Chemka Hot Springs, you’ll be driven back to Arusha or Moshi, with a drop-off at your specified location.
