Our quad tour begins in the heart of Kiwengwa, offering an authentic naturalistic adventure through the central part of Zanzibar, covering the Kinyasini and Pwani Mchangani areas.
Starting at Kairo (Kiwengwa), we journey at a leisurely pace along the main road, passing fishermen’s houses and local activities. Our first stop is at Pwani Mchangani’s central square (cross junction), where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the local community by purchasing items such as rice, food, or school supplies.
From there, we continue to the village of Kinyasini, driving through the picturesque village of Kandwi and its lush rice fields. Here, our guide will share insights about the island’s economy and the natural features of the area.
Next, we visit local mud houses, where you’ll experience the rich traditions and culture of the community, warmly welcomed by the radiant smiles of the children.
On our way back to Pwani Mchangani, we pass through charming fishermen’s villages with coral-built houses, visit the bustling local fish market (Soko la Samaki), and stop at Waikiki for refreshments.
The tour concludes with a scenic ride back to Kiwengwa, leaving you with lasting memories of Zanzibar’s vibrant landscapes and culture.
